The Eureka Centre, located in Ballarat, Victoria, is a historically significant site that commemorates the Eureka Rebellion of 1854. This event was a key moment in Australian history, symbolizing the fight for democracy and miners’ rights. The centre provides a comprehensive insight into the events leading up to the rebellion, showcasing historical artifacts, interactive displays, and multimedia exhibits. Through my visit, I captured several images of key exhibits, including a replica of the Eureka Flag, miners’ tools, and interpretive panels that narrate the struggle for fair representation. This resource will support teachers in making history engaging and meaningful for students.
