This digital learning resource is created as part of the assessment for the unit ‘Teaching Humanities and Social Sciences’. The purpose of this website is to explore the Eureka Centre in Ballarat as a valuable community resource for Year 4 students. The site will provide teachers with insights into how this historical landmark can be used to enhance the teaching of History by offering an authentic and immersive learning experience. By engaging with the rich history of the Eureka Stockade, students will develop critical thinking skills and an understanding of democratic values.
